The Office Cleaning Checklist Professionals Actually Use
Why a Checklist?
The difference between an "almost clean" office and an impeccable one rarely comes down to the product used: it comes down to consistency. A written checklist, verified at every visit, is the foundation of quality control for any serious provider.
Daily Tasks (or Every Visit)
● Empty trash bins and replace bags
● Disinfect touch points: handles, switches, railings, elevator buttons
● Fully clean and disinfect restrooms, restock paper and soap
● Clean the kitchenette: counters, sink, appliance exteriors
● Vacuum traffic areas
● Damp-mop hard floors
Weekly Tasks
● Complete dusting of work surfaces, shelves and ledges
● Full carpet vacuuming, including under desks
● Interior windows and glass doors
● Disinfection of phones, shared keyboards and meeting rooms
Monthly or Seasonal Tasks
● High dusting: light fixtures, vents, frames
● Wall washing and touch-ups of marked areas
● Floor stripping and polishing (based on traffic)
● Carpet shampooing and stain treatment
How to Use This List
Walk through your premises with this list after your current provider's visit. If more than two daily items are recurrently neglected, you are not paying for cleaning: you are paying for the appearance of cleaning. At IntérieurNet, this checklist is built into every contract and verified by our team leads.
